What is Stop Motion Animation?

Stop motion as everyone know is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in gradual increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a fast sequence.

Stop-motion animation is a film-making technique that makes an illusion of objects that appear to move on their own. To do it, you place an object in front of a camera and click a photo. After that move the object a little bit and snap another photo. Perform this twenty to ten thousand times, plays back the sequence in rapid progression and it looks like the object is moving gradually across the screen.

Easy right!? So, why to wait? Let’s do it. Here I am talking about a mobile application from which you can make your stop motion video in a minute.

Method

1.Download Stop Motion Studio application.

2.Set up a backdrop. This could be a wall or piece of foam core.

3.Gather toys or any objects to include in your animation.

4.Across from the foam core, set up your touchpad or smartphone on a stand or tripod.

5.Start the App and make your movie!
